Basil Fried Rice
½ lb of shrimp
3 tbsp oil
4 cloves of garlic, diced.
1 Jalapeno, sliced thinly.
½ Bell Pepper, diced
2 cups cooked Jasmine Rice
¼ cup Chef Nikky’s Black Soy
5 stems of Thai Basil, use only leaves
In a large wok, add in oil over high heat. Crack in 2 eggs and scramble, then add in garlic and jalapeno immediately after. Cook for 30 seconds.
Then add in the shrimp. Cook all together until the shrimp is cooked.
Add jasmine rice and Chef Nikky’s Black Soy Mix until sauce and rice have been absorbed and mixed for about 3 minutes.
Add in bell pepper, and stir to mix. Turn the heat off then add in the thai basil. Stir to combine.
Decorate with fresh basil.
